- THE ROLE
Our client is a leading firm of engineering consultants providing a comprehensive range of services in conjunction with the built environment. They provide services throughout the UK and the Middle East with projects in all sectors of the construction market.
An opportunity exists in their London office for a self motivated team player to work within our expanding MEP team. The successful candidate will work closely with their Regional Director to manage delivery, technical expertise and support the expansion of their business, as well as leading some of their multidisciplinary engineering teams on a number of exciting prestigious projects.
You will be focused on the management and delivery of projects, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and to high technical standards.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Director with 15-20+ years’ experience working within an MEP consultancy / design field within the commercial sector, and have the ability to undertake a key role in the future development of our company.
You will have extensive project management / delivery experience including resource allocation, financial and commercial management, as well as a strong business development capability through professional networking. Strong team management and development skills are also essential.
You will be a results orientated and approachable professional, with a flexible outlook, highly developed negotiation skills and excellent commercial acumen. A relevant degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services or other related Engineering subject is required, along with professional membership (CIBSE/IMechE/IET).
