- THE ROLE
Our Client is a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. Their offices span the UK and the Middle East, and they apply their technical skill and specialist knowledge to a wide range of projects across new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects in the public and private sectors.
Their Acoustics Group works on projects both with the main practice and on direct, independent commissions and provides advice to major property clients, leading architects and project teams on all aspects of acoustics. Our current workload is varied and includes major high profile building projects in the UK and abroad.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Seeking a dynamic, ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Acoustic Consultant / Acoustic Technician to join our Acoustics Group in Farnborough. Candidates will be expected to have appropriate qualifications which may include a Bachelor degree in Acoustics or a closely-related subject (e.g. Physics), or the IOA postgraduate Diploma. In the absence of suitable qualifications, relevant field experience will be considered.
A valid driving licence is essential, as the role will involve travel to sites, meetings etc. across the UK.
The work will initially involve on-site testing, and noise and vibration surveying. The candidate is expected to soon gain considerable experience and knowledge of architectural, environmental and building services acoustics, as well as other engineering disciplines through the Clients Academy programme.
