- Our Client is looking for an Engineering Design Manager to join their team based in the North West

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide technical supervision of multi-disciplined Engineers via hierarchy of Principal and Senior Engineers for all design resource in the company.
• Provide the company Technical and Design Authority.
• Deliver a quality engineering service so that engineering delivery is consistently to scope, time, budget and quality.
• Develop, in liaison with the VC & Chief Engineer, processes and procedures for design delivery in line with company SHEQ&S, Regulatory and Administrative requirements.
• Work with the Project team to monitor/improve project performance.
• Provide technical input to the bidding process and provide budget (hours) for deliverables.
• Identify and deploy the technical engineering skill set, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, financial targets and provide support to the subsequent recruitment process.
• Input to engineering budgetary information in a timely manner.
• Consistently promote the Companyvalues, through personal example and roll out through the team, so that each member of the location engineering organisation understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
• Actively seek out talented individuals to join the organisation, to add required skills or to build strength in existing areas.
• Promote a culture that develops individual’s capability.
• Ensure SQEP’ness to support project delivery.
• Support the Vice President – Engineering Services and the MRF Engineering and Maintenance Manager in providing consistent engineering delivery across the Group.
• Lead the technical interface between engineering and client businesses, to ensure an effective relationship which operates to maximise overall benefit to Company
