- Our client is looking for a Principal EC&I Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role requires chartered engineer status together with a minimum of an honours degree in electrical engineering and extensive experience.
The successful candidate will deliver high quality C and I engineering solutions to satisfy the exacting demands expected in the nuclear Industry, within a framework of our integrated management system incorporating safety, quality, cost and schedule.
A proven track record demonstrating past experience in the nuclear industry is essential.
The candidate must have achieved a clear track record for promoting team growth, motivation, mentoring and management.
The role requires the candidate to possess a blend of strong interpersonal and client facing skills. Essential to the role will be proven technical capability in the design of C and I systems for the nuclear Industry Including functional safety, PES, FEED, BS 61508, SCADA, Design substantiation and PRS.
The role demands strong team leadership and design management skills that have been demonstrated in design project delivery from preparation of the user requirement documentation through fully detailed space coordination and on to produce, “build to print” quality construction information.
Due to security clearance reasons candidates must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years
