- Our Client is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team based in Greater Manchester
The role requires a minimum chartered engineer status together with a minimum of a degree in electrical engineering and extensive experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality engineering solutions that satisfy the requirements set by our integrated management system for safety, quality, cost and schedule.
The candidate must have a clear track record for promoting team motivation, mentoring and management together with strong interpersonal and client facing skills.
Essential to the role will be a high and proven technical capability in the design of industrial bias electrical building services and power distribution systems.
The role demands skills in team leadership and design management from preparation of the user requirement documentation through fully detailed space coordination and on to produce build to print construction information.
Ideally a past experience in the nuclear industry is preferable. However, consideration will also be given to good quality candidates that have a strong industrial background.
The ideal candidate would have SC clearance and nuclear/industrial sector experience.
It will be necessary to have the flexibility to work in a variety of locations and be able to work with the minimum of supervision
